For centuries, the artisans of Fès have embroidered in gold on red. It is one of the oldest and most disciplined textile traditions in the Arab world — Tarz fassi, the embroidery of Fès, in which botanical motifs of extraordinary delicacy are built stitch by stitch in gold thread on crimson ground, the two colours of the Moroccan royal household, the two colours that appear on the country's football jerseys every time the Atlas Lions take the field. The 'Fassi Gold' Edition does not interpret this tradition. It continues it — on a football jersey, for the first time, at the level of craft it deserves.

The base is the Morocco home kit for the World Cup 2026, and it arrives already declaring its identity. Deep crimson in a fine ribbed construction, green emerald panels at the flanks and sleeve edges, a Mao collar carrying a woven Amazigh geometric band in red, white, green, and gold — a passementerie detail that reproduces the border patterns of Berber textile traditions at the collar and cuffs. On the back neck, in gold calligraphy: المغرب — Al-Maghrib — Morocco, in its own language. This is a kit that knew what it was before VOLTA placed a single stitch.

What the VOLTA atelier places on it is a dual composition in pure Tarz fassi vocabulary. On the upper right chest, a botanical arabesque rises from below the shoulder — fine gold stems in stem stitch branching into coiling sub-stems, from which small flowers emerge in satin stitch: six and eight petals, each worked in radial gold thread from a tight green centre of French knots. Buds appear at the branch tips, some closed and pointed, some beginning to open. Leaves in elongated gold satin stitch with dark green vein accents extend at intervals. The composition ascends toward the shoulder with the unhurried logic of a plant finding light.

On the lower left, the second composition descends in a diagonal — a longer, more open arrangement of the same botanical vocabulary but with larger blooms: three fully opened flowers whose centres are filled with dense green French knots circled by a ring of gold seed stitch, petals radiating outward in individual satin-stitch lines. Single flowers are dispersed at the composition's perimeter, floating free of the main stem, in the manner of traditional Fassi embroidery panels where isolated motifs signal the edge of the pattern field.

The colour decision is absolute: gold and green on red, exclusively. No white, no other thread. Every element is a direct translation of the Moroccan flag into embroidery, and of the Fassi craft tradition into a hand-embroidered Morocco World Cup 2026 home jersey that can be worn at the tournament Morocco co-hosts on its own soil.

Each piece requires between 15 and 25 hours of atelier work and is hand-stitched in our Paris and Versailles ateliers. The 'Fassi Gold' Edition is a registered work of art, produced in a strictly limited run and supplied with a certificate of authenticity. Once the drop closes, it will not be restocked.
